“Nothing brings more power to action than integrating people”.

Action is power! Action is a way to generate power! When we feel that we are having lack of energy, the best way to deal with that is starting to do something. It is reinvigorating!

The most powerful form of action is when people are working together. It creates an exponential source of power. Working together is an opportunity to create a contagious enthusiasm. When we understand that, we spend most of our energies in finding ways to create multiple forms of integration between everybody involved. We can call that, synergy. It is when all the different personal energy shared is absorbed and blended originating new chemistry.

Those combinations have the power to make people do incredible things that we can barely describe, but it is so easy to believe it!

Ação é poder! Ação é uma maneira de gerar poder! Quando sentimos que estamos tendo falta de energia, a melhor maneira de lidar com isso é começar a fazer algo. É revigorante!

A mais poderosa forma de ação é quando pessoas trabalham unidas. Isso cria uma fonte exponencial de força. Trabalhar unidos é uma oportunidade de criar um entusiamo contagiante. Quando entendemos isso, investimos mais nossas energias em encontrar meios de criar múltiplas formas de integração entre todos envolvidos. Podemos chamar de sinergia. É quando todas diferentes energias pessoais são partilhadas e absorvidas originando uma nova química.

Essas combinações têm o poder de levar pessoas a fazerem coisas incríveis que mal podemos descrever, mas é muito fácil de acreditar!

INDIVIDUALITY AND INDIVIDUALISM // INDIVIDUALIDADE E INDIVIDUALISMO

“There is room for individuality in a group, but there is no room for individualism”.

Little details can make a huge difference. This happens specially with some definitions. When we understand the difference, it becomes easier to make a decision and take some actions.

Every individual has particular characteristics, abilities and dynamic. It is important to respect and value that. These personal aspects are components to integrate a group of people, specially when it is related to action. This is what we call individuality. A little different from individuality is individualism. This is a behavior where personal aspects exceed the integration of every member of the group. Teamwork is based on the integration of everyone's personal aspects.

Individualism, inside a group, is harmful. Individuality can be worked in a positive way. This is more important than just understanding the words' definition.

“Existe lugar para individualidade dentro de um grupo, mas não existe lugar para individualismo”.

Pequenos detalhes podem fazer uma grande diferença. Isso acontece especialmente com algumas definições. Quando entendemos a diferença, fica mais fácil tomar uma decisão e agir.

Cada indivíduo tem características, habilidade e dinâmica particulares. É importante respeitar e valorizar isso. Esses aspectos pessoais são componentes para integrar um grupo de pessoas, especialmente se tiver a ver com ação. É o que chamamos individualidade. Um pouco diferente é o individualismo. Ele é um comportamento onde aspectos pessoais sobressaem à integração de todos. Trabalho em equipe se baseia na integração dos aspectos pessoais de todos.

Individualismo, dentro do grupo, é perigoso. Individualidade pode ser positiva. Isso é mais importante do que apenas entender a definição das palavras.

WORKING WITH OTHERS // TRABALHAR COM OS OUTROS

“People like things done in the best way possible, but there are people who say they don’t like to work with others.  It just doesn’t make sense!”

I've heard so many time, so many people saying they don't like to work with another people. Even having heard lots of times, I still don't get it. Other people are the best interaction we can have in every aspect of life.

The great problem is we have to develop a better interaction. What I mean is, when we say something like that, in fact we are saying that we are better that the others. That is so wrong! We can have stronger dedication, deeper commitment, higher qualifications, but none of these make us better than anyone. In fact, when we close our mind to accept other people's collaboration, just because we think they will not gonna do the right thing, it is easy to tell who's the worse.

If we want so much to show how good we are, we should help other people to develop what they can do and we will become very satisfied working with them.

“Pessoas gostam de fazer tudo da melhor maneira possível, embora existam pessoas que dizem não gostar de trabalhar com outras pessoas. Isso não faz sentido!”

Já ouvi tantas vezes, tanta gente dizendo que não gostam de trabalhar com outras pessoas. Mesmo tendo ouvido tantas vezes tantas vezes, ainda não entendo. Outras pessoas são a melhor interação que podemos ter em todos os aspectos da vida.

O grande problema é que temos que desenvolver melhor interação. O que quero dizer é, quando dizemos isso, estamos dizendo, na verdade, que somos melhores que os outros. Isso é errado! Podemos ter maior dedicação, maior compromisso, maior qualificação, mas nada disso nos faz melhor que ninguém. Quando fechamos nossa mente para aceitar a colaboração dos outros, porque pensamos que não vão fazer o certo, fica fácil de dizer quem é o pior.

Se queremos tanto mostrar que somos bons, deveríamos ajudar os outros a desenvolver o que podem fazer e vamos nos sentir bem trabalhando com eles.
