FEAR AND SOLUTION // MEDO E SOLUÇÃO

“Facing our fears is not a simple solution, but there is no solution without it.”

What fear can cause us is more complicated than we can imagine. Basically because every person has different reactions and every situation of fear might have a different impact too. That is why facing fear is not simple.

The intention of make it simple might be a way to help those in fear to have bigger motivation to do it and usually doesn't work. It is difficult to say that there is a best way to face our fears. The best we can say is that is a process and every process needs to go through its steps. It is possible to do that alone or having help. It is also difficult to say how long is going to take, but good results can be achieved for sure. Probably the most difficult part is to reach the point of facing fear. It might happen that we will find out that the problem wasn't that big and fear was overrated.

Living under the realm of fear is cruelty, no one deserves it. The road to true freedom is totally worth taking.

“Enfrentar nossos medos não é uma solução simples, mas não existe solução sem isso.”

O que o medo pode nos causar é mais complicado do que imaginamos. Basicamente porque cada pessoa tem reações different e cada situação de medo pode ter um impacto diferente também. Por isso enfrentar o medo não é simples.

A intenção de fazer simples pode ser uma forma de ajudar os que têm medo a ter maior motivação para faze-lo e normalmente não dá certo. É difícil dizer que existe a melhor maneira de enfrentar os medos. O melhor que podemos dizer é que é um processo e todo processo precisa seguir seus passos. É possível fazer sozinho ou recebendo ajuda. Também é difícil dizer quanto tempo vai levar, mas bons resultados podem ser alcançados. Provavelmente o mais difícil é chegar no ponto de enfrentar o medo. Pode acontecer de descobrirmos que o problema não era tão grande e o medo exagerado.

Viver sob o domínio do medo é crueldade e ninguém merece isso. O caminho para a verdadeira liberdade realmente vale à pena.

SPEAKING HONESTLY // FALANDO HONESTAMENTE

“Speaking honestly  is like cake right out of the oven, that needs to be cooled down before serving”.

Speaking honestly is the best way to develop a conversation. The problem is our emotions can be mixed with the words we want to say and the outcome might not be good.

Emotions have the power to surprise us. Depending on how they manifest the situation may take a form completely different of what we expected. Our words are tremendously affected by our emotions. That is why a honest conversation needs to be developed when emotions are stabilized. A honest and peaceful conversation works wonderfully in every aspect. It is the best way to create positive reactions in every environment.

This is a little advice that will prevent possible problems. It is always good enjoying a delicious cake, what is not good is ending up with a burnt tongue.

“Falar honestamente é como um bolo recém tirado do forno, precisa esfriar para ser servido”.

Falar honestamente é a melhor maneira de desenvolver uma conversa. O problema é que nossas emoções pode se misturar com as palavras que queremos dizer e o resultado pode não ser bom.

Emoções têm o poder de nos surpreender. Dependendo de como elas se manifestam a situação pode terminar completamente diferente do que esperávamos. Nossas palavras são tremendamente afetadas pelas nossas emoções. Por isso uma conversa honesta precisa ser desenvolvido quando as emoções estão estabilizadas. Uma conversa honesta e pacífica funciona muito bem em cada aspecto. É  a melhor maneira de criar reações positivas em qualquer ambiente.

Esse é um pequeno conselho que pode evitar possíveis problemas. Sempre é bom desfrutar de um bolo gostoso, mas não é bom ficar com a língua queimada.

A GOLF BALL AND A DEATH // UMA BOLA DE GOLFE E UMA MORTE

🇺🇸 A 60 years old man died in the Atlanta’s suburb two days after been hit in an incident. The hitting caused skull and legs fractures. This story has a tragic end and makes us think about how far the consequences of our reactions can go. Sadly that man won’t be able to share with us his version of the story.
 Another man was driving by the street when he saw the 60 years old man stood in front of a house close to the trash cans. According to the driver the man made a move like throwing something and subsequently his car, a Mercedes, was hit by a golf ball. He drove back to the spot, had an argument with the man, who'd threw a trash can over his car. He swerved and ended up hitting another trash can. When he stopped and got out of the car, he saw the man laid down on the ground. This is the driver’s version.
 The police is investigating the case now. Besides the driver’s testimony, the police has a footage of a neighbor’s camera, a calling from a witness to 911 service. The first analysis of the footage shows some contradiction of the driver’s version. Also the deceased’s brother was talking to him at the phone when the incident happened and listen part of the conversation. The incident happened on July 30. On August 12 the driver turned himself to the police after warrants against him have been issued. The driver is been charged of murder and aggravated assault. The case is going to court and the driver will plead not guilty.
 It’s early to get a conclusion on what really happened, but it could ended in not a tragic way. Of course a situation like that could be easily solved with a racional conversation. That one and some many others.

🇧🇷 Um homem de 60 anos morreu nos subúrbios de Atlanta dois dias após ter sido atingido num incidente. Ele sofreu fraturas no crânio e nas pernas. Essa trágica história nos faz pensar sobre até que ponto nossas reações podem chegar. Infelizmente o homem não vai poder contar a sua versão da história.
 Outro homem estava dirigindo pela rua quando viu o homem de 60 anos em frente a uma casa junto de latas de lixo. De acordo com o motorista, o homem fez um gesto de atirar algo e em seguida seu carro, uma Mercedes, foi atingido por uma bola de golfe. Ele retornou ao local e teve uma discussão com o homem, que teria jogado uma das latas de lixo no carro. Ele tentou desviar e atingiu outra lata de lixo. Quando parou e desceu do carro, viu o homem caído no chão. Esta é a versão do motorista.
 A polícia está investigando o caso. Além do testemunho do motorista, a polícia tem um vídeo de uma câmera da casa vizinha e a ligação de uma testemunha para a emergência. A primeira análise do vídeo mostra alguma contradição com a versão do motorista. O irmão do falecido, que falava com ele ao telefone no momento, também ouviu parte da conversa. O incidente aconteceu em 30 de julho. Em 12 de agosto o motorista se entregou após alguns mandados de prisão. Ele está sendo acusado de assassinato e agressão grave. O caso irá a julgamento e o motorista se declara inocente.
 É cedo para tirar conclusões do caso, mas poderia não ter terminado de forma trágica. Claro que é uma situação que facilmente poderia ter sido resolvida de forma racional. Essa, bem como muitas outras.
