SPACE BILLIONAIRES
On July 11th part of world’s attention was taken to Richard Branson and his adventure of being the first billionaire in a flight outer space. The adventure lasted 90 minutes and it has become history already.
This was a part of the race that three billionaires are on, Richard Branson, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos. Each one of them has developed plans and are working on them to bring traveling to space to a commercial level. Branson’s project is running for over 20 years and on July 11th reached a very important milestone. We will see much more accomplishments on this subject from now on.
What is the importance of this episode to the life of those who are not billionaires and live an ordinary life? The first impact is telling us about the future: new and impressive things will keep coming. Second, the race to reach the space indicates that space is still source of power, like it has been since the 60’s for some countries. Also, it is speaking to us about personal accomplishments. Each one of us has dreams and goals we want to bring to reality. Even for those who cannot count billions on their bank accounts, there is no excuse to not pursue what will bring a higher meaning to life. There is always a space to aim.
Richard Branson’s flight reached 50.000 miles high in the sky and after that he could land safely on the ground. You can fly as high as you want to, but make sure you will be able to land to tell your story after.

Em 11 de julho parte da atenção mundial foi dada para Richard Branson e sua aventura em ser o primeiro bilionário a voar no espaço. A aventura durou 90 minutos e já se tornou parte da história.
Isso foi parte da corrida que três bilionários, Richard Branson, Elon Musk e Jeff Bezos, estão travando. Cada um deles desenvolveu planos e estão trabalhando para trazer a viagem para o espaço para um nível comercial. O projeto de Branson tem mais de 20 anos e em de 11 de julho alcançou um marca muito importante. Vamos ver muito mais realizações nesse assunto daqui por diante.
Que importância esse episódio tem na vida dos que não são bilionários e vivem uma vida comum? O primeiro impacto nos conta sobre o futuro: novas e impressionantes coisas vão continuar acontecendo. Segundo, a corrida para alcançar o espaço indica que ele ainda é uma fonte de poder, como tem sido desde os anos 60 para alguns países. Também nos fala sobre realizações pessoais. Cada um tem sonhos e objetivos a realizar. Mesmo para os que não podem contar bilhões na conta bancária, não há desculpa para não perseguir o que vai dar maior significado à vida. O vôo de Branson alcançou 80.000 km de altura e depois ele pode pousar seguro no solo. Você pode voar o mais alto que quiser, mas tenta certeza que vai poder pousar para contar sua história depois.

🇺🇸 I was chatting with my friend Alex about this time of coronavirus and our concern about the correlation with the end of the world. He mentioned something interesting, that this time of quarantine could be a time to refill the spiritual basis of our life. During this time no one could complain about the lack of time to do it.
For those who are familiarized with the subject that reminded me of the parable that Jesus told about the Wise and Foolish Virgins (Matthew 25:1-13). The lesson of that parable is be prepared for the unexpected and having provision in case of something goes different of what we think. In times of confinement we’re talking about having extra money and extra food. Now, spiritually speaking, what would that be?
A lot of people is ready to give prophetic explanations for every single event that is happening in the world. Social media groups have being filled with that. But Jesus, who is the greatest advisor about the subject of the end of the world, advised us: that day will come as a thief breaking into a house (Matthew 24:42-44). It’s easy to be prepare to the end and pick the victorious side. The thing is to face the surprise! What could be a surprise? Basically it’s something that affect our plans, our intentions, our desires.
Everybody will be caught on a surprise and that moment will determine the destiny of our life for ever. It’s something for us to think about it. So I won't say anything else, because I don’t want to ruin the surprise.

🇧🇷 Estava papeando com meu amigo Alex sobre este tempo de coronavírus e nossa preocupação da relação com o fim do mundo. Ele disse algo interessante, que esta quarentena poderia ser um tempo para estocar alimento espiritual. Neste período ninguém pode reclamar de não ter tempo para isso. Para quem está familiarizado com o assunto, isso me fez lembrar da parábola que Jesus contou sobre as 10 Virgens (Mateus 25:1-13). A lição da parábola é estar preparados para o inesperado e ter provisão em caso de algo ir diferente daquilo que pensamos. Em tempos de confinamento estamos falando sobre ter dinheiro e comida extras. Agora, espiritualmente falando, isso tem a ver com o que? Muitas pessoas estão prontas para dar explicações proféticas sobre cada evento que acontece no mundo. Grupos de mídias sociais estão sendo cheios com isso. Jesus, o grande orientador sobre assuntos de fim do mundo, nos aconselhou: aquele dia vai vir como um ladrão entra numa casa (Mateus 24:42-44). É fácil se preparar para o fim e escolher ficar do lado vitorioso. O negócio é enfrentar a surpresa! O que poderia ser a surpresa? Basicamente é o que afeta nossos planos, intenções e desejos. Todos serão pegos de surpresa e esse momento vai determinar o destino de nossa vida pra sempre. É algo para se pensar. Então não vou dizer mais nada aqui, porque não quero estragar a surpresa. 🇺🇸 Think about leadership, think about to create movement. That’s the connection that gives us the leaderactivity. It’s easier to stay where we are, there’s no need of a leader to stay at the same place. The leaderactive will move people to a better condition, because there’s always a chance to make it better.
There’s no movement without guidance. Because it’s easier to stay where we are, if we want to move people we need to put more efforts on leadership. People need to be sure that they’re moving to a better condition. The leaderactive will not do that without a plan. Probably, it will take more than one step to make the move and one step leads to another. This is the basics of planning. The basics of a movement.
Some people struggle when it comes to planning and this is not an acceptable excuse. If you struggle with that, seek for help! One of the excuses is that after we make a plan we have to change the plans most of the time. That’s true. That’s why I like to have those luggage bundles. Usually they come in 3 pieces, sometimes more. If I have just one bag that could turn into a problem for me. What if it’s too small or too big? If I have options it’ll be easier to decide. If I have options when I’m planning I know that, at some point I’ll have to replan and make a new decision, which we all agree it’s ok when we’re packing.
Replanning is the art of going forward. It's more than art, it's power! Having the plans under control I’ll be confident, because replanning will make me feel ok wherever I'm going and for the time I’ll be traveling.

🇧🇷 Pense em liderança, pense em criar movimento. Esta é a conexão que cria a lideratividade. É fácil permanecer onde estamos, não há necessidade de líder para ficar no mesmo lugar. O liderativo vai mover as pessoas para uma condição melhor, porque sempre existe a chance de melhorar as coisas.
Não existe movimento sem orientação. Por ser mais fácil ficar onde estamos, vamos precisar fazer mais esforço na liderança para mover as pessoas. Pessoas precisam ter certeza que estão indo para uma condição melhor. O liderativo não vai fazer isso sem um plano. Provavelmente, vai precisar de mais de um passo e um passo leva a outro. Isso é o básico do planejamento. O básico de um movimento.
Alguns sofrem na hora de planejar e isso não é uma desculpa aceitável. Se tem dificuldade, busque ajuda! Uma das desculpas é que depois de planejarmos, temos que fazer mudanças nos planos. Verdade. Por isso eu gosto de ter aqueles jogos de malas. Normalmente vêm com 3 peças, às vezes mais. Se tenho só uma mala posso ter problema. E se for muito pequena? Ou muito grande? Se tenho opções é mais fácil decidir. Tendo opções quando estou planejando sei que em certo ponto vou ter que refazer os planos e tomar nova decisão, o que concordamos, também é bom quando fazemos as malas.
Refazer planos é a arte de seguir adiante. É mais que uma arte, é poder! Ter os planos sob controle traz confiança, porque vai me fazer sentir bem por onde eu tiver que ir e pelo tempo que tiver que viajar.

🇺🇸I grew up hearing the name Boeing referring as a high standard aircraft. Because I used to hear that from my father, every time I hear the word Boeing I remember my father saying it. So as I grew, the name Boeing became a reference for great and big things. If an object was huge, it’s a boeing. If a person is a fenomenal and talented worker, he/she is a boeing. The idea of what Boeing meant came before my understanding that Boeing is a business company. Well, that big thing is worth around $30 billion less this week. And I’m saying this not as a good thing. I’m saying that $30 billion still doesn’t compensate for 346 mortes in recent accidents. I’m not blaming the company directly for the accidents and deaths, but it’s the name, the institution that took part of the responsibility for those lives. How many passengers the company transport every year? In 2018 the estimated number of world wide passengers flying was 4.3 billion. A huge number and a huge responsibility. What about the air companies? They are the ones who do maintenance, on-time decisions. What about the agencies? They supervise all operations. Families are suffering, the world is sorry for the consequences of these tragedies. And I’ll not forget to mention another person directly affected by those tragedies: you! That’s true. You, me, are part of this for just one reason, we don’t control everything. Taking care of our responsibilities is important and we think because of that everything will be ok. Then, something out of our plans happens. Maybe it happened today. That point is a new start. Sometimes with tears, sometimes with courage. To fly is still necessary. That’s it. Denison
🇧🇷Cresci ouvindo o nome Boeing se referindo como um avião de alto padrão. Porque eu ouvia isso do meu pai, toda vez que ouço a palavra Boeing me lembro dele dizendo. À medida que cresci, o nome Boeing se tornou referência para grandes coisas. Se algo é grande, é um boeing. Se a pessoa é fenomenal no que faz, é um boeing. Antes de saber que Boeing é uma empresa eu já tinha o conceito de que boeing é algo gigante. Bem, esse gigante vale $30 bilhões de dólares menos esta semana. E não estou falando isso como algo bom. Estou dizendo que 30 bilhões ainda não compensam por 346 mortes em acidentes recentes. Não estou culpando diretamente a empresa pelos acidentes e mortes, mas é o nome, a instituição que toma parte da responsabilidades pelas vidas. Quantos passageiros a empresa transporta cada ano? Em 2018 o número estimado de passageiros pelo mundo foi de 4.3 bilhões. Um grande número e uma grande responsabilidade. E o que falar das companhias aéreas? Eles fazem a manutenção, e tomam as decisões de momento. E as agências de vôo? Eles supervisionam as operações. Famílias sofrendo, o mundo triste pelas consequências dessas tragédias. E não vou esquecer de mencionar mais alguém diretamente afetado pelas tragédias: você! Sério. Você, eu, somos parte disso por uma razão, não controlamos tudo. Cuidar das responsabilidades é importante e achamos que por isso tudo vai ficar bem. Então, algo fora dos planos acontece. Talvez tenha acontecido hoje. Esse é o ponto do recomeço.
