UNITING LEADERS // UNINDO LÍDERES

“We need a leader to unite a group of followers. What would we need to unite a group of leaders?”

Leaders are essencial in every dimension. Leaders make the difference. Leaders are instruments of transformation. Leaders inspire followers. Leaders create movement to reach goals.

Beside all of that, leaders have the power to influence followers and develop the spirit of unity so everybody can perform as one. It is hard to find a group of people doing good without a good leadership. Now, what about a group of leaders? Have you seen a group of leaders performing? It is not the same as a group of followers. It is a potential environment for competition, confrontation and disputes. Not mentioning the problem with the high level of ego.

Leaders are moved by purpose. When they develop the vision of a higher purpose, higher than all of them, they become motivated to reach it out.

“Precisamos de um líder para unir um grupo de seguidores. Do que precisaríamos para unir um grupo de líderes?”

Líderes são essenciais em todas as dimensões. Líderes fazem a diferença. Líderes são agentes de transformação. Líderes inspiram seguidores. Líderes criam movimentos para alcançar objetivos.

Além de tudo isso, líderes têm o poder de influenciar seguidores e desenvolver o espírito de unidade para que todos atuem como um. É difícil achar um grupo de pessoas indo bem sem uma boa liderança. Agora, e se for um grupo de líderes? Você já viu um grupo de líderes atuando? Não é o mesmo que um grupo de seguidores. Existe um grande potencial para competição, confrontos e disputas. Sem mencionar o problema com o alto nível do ego.

Líderes são movidos por propósito. Quando desenvolvem a visão de um propósito maior, inclusive que eles próprios, se tornam motivados para alcançá-lo.

É isso.

MOUNT EVEREST // MONTE EVEREST

🇺🇸 The highest mountain in the planet is a symbol of grandiosity and a challenge for people who want to overcome limits. We use to hear inspiring stories from people who climbed to the top and had life changed. The chance of seeing and connecting with that immensity must be wonderful.
 I my idea the adventure would be a lonely experience, a spiritual refuge, until I read what’s really going on there. There’s a huge traffic jam on the route to the top. Hundreds of people stuck in lines, walking among dead bodies, struggling with the lack of oxygen and getting frustrated. Official reports counted 21 deaths among more than 700 climbers in the 2019 season. (see the pictures at the page bottom)
 Inspiring stories must have been the main reason for people to decide to climb the Everest and other mountains. We seem like having a need to find new things, new trends, new enchantment to get motivated. Experiences are valued and the impressions shared and more people are inspired. Suddenly things that used to be special and unusual become ordinary and common. Frustration overcomes the motivation. Then we start to look for another mountain to climb, but there’s no other mountain higher than the Everest. So, where would you go now? .
 I can show you that other mountain to climb. Look around you. So many people, so many things. What if you start the route of ordinary things to reach the top of making them extraordinary?

🇧🇷 O monte mais alto do planeta é um símbolo de imponência e um desafio para pessoas que querem superar limites. Normalmente ouvimos histórias inspiradoras de pessoas que tiveram a vida mudada por terem chegado ao topo do monte. Deve ser incrível contemplar a imensidão e se conectar com ela.
 Pra mim essa aventura sempre foi vista como uma experiência solitária, um refúgio espiritual, até ler sobre o que está acontecendo lá. Tem um grande congestionamento lá. Centenas de pessoas frustradas, presas em filas, caminhando entre cadáveres, sofrendo com a limitação de oxigênio. Relatórios registram 21 mortes entre os mais de 700 alpinistas na temporada de 2019. (veja as fotos no final da página)
 Histórias inspiradoras devem ter sido a principal razão para as pessoas resolverem escalar o Everest e outros montes. Parece que temos necessidade de encontrar novas coisas, novas tendências, novos encantos para sentirmos motivados. Experiências são valorizadas e partilhadas e mais gente se inspira. De repente, coisas que considerávamos especiais e incomuns se tornam comuns e corriqueiras. Frustração supera a motivação. Daí começamos a procurar por outra montanha, mas não existe outra montanha que seja mais alta que o Everest. Então, pra onde você vai agora?
 Posso te mostrar outra montanha para escalar. Olhe ao seu redor. Tantas pessoas, tantas coisas. E se você começasse a rota das coisas comuns para chegar ao topo de transforma-las em extraordinárias?

PLANTATION OF WORDS / PLANTAÇÃO DE PALAVRAS

🇺🇸Words have more power than we think. Even when people say a picture is worth a thousand words, at the end the whole thing ends up with words. Words can touch, hurt and heal.
 I chose to use words in my whole life. I’ve worked with them, tried to bring the best of each one. Explored their meaning, expanded their benefits, found out their synonyms, enriched their power to create reactions. I practiced, studied and learned about them. I searched for their correspondence in other languages, unveiled the semantics, connected with related terms. I saw the results. The good ones and the bad ones. I picked the right and also used the wrong. So they became my friends, my partners.
 Sometimes people came to me to tell me I was good with them. In fact, it was more than sometimes. But there were times when some complained that I didn’t do well. Their words also had effect on me and then I grew because of them. That was one of the opportunities I always enjoy: to better understand that, even when words come from different directions, they can be matched and to line up the tune for all.
 So I started to see in front of me a plantation of words. I could spread them, plant them, make them to grow and ripe and then generate other words. That process never stops. Because words are everywhere and I have lots of them in the field of my mind. That’s why I’m here. To use them more and more, to multiply their potential. Every Friday I’ll be here reaping one of the words and sharing their power to inspire, like seeds making new words be born and beautify our world.

🇧🇷Palavras têm mais poder do que imaginamos. Mesmo quando dizem que uma imagem vale mais que mil palavras, no final tudo acaba mesmo em palavras. Elas podem tocar, ferir e curar.
 Eu escolhi usar palavras minha vida toda. Trabalhei com elas, busquei o melhor de cada uma. Explorei seu significado, expandi seus benefícios, descobri os sinônimos, enriqueci seu poder de criar reações. Pratiquei, estudei e aprendi com elas. Pesquisei por sua correspondência em outros idiomas, desvendei a semântica, conectei com termos relacionados. Vi os resultados. Os bons e os ruins. Peguei as corretas e também usei as erradas. Por isso elas se tornaram minhas amigas e parceiras.
 As vezes as pessoas vinham a mim pra dizer que fui bom com elas. Na verdade foi mais que "as vezes”. Mas teve as vezes quando alguém reclamou que não fiz bem. Suas palavras também tiveram efeito em mim e cresci por causa delas. Era uma das oportunidades que sempre gostei: entender melhor que, mesmo quando palavras vêm de lugares diferentes, podem se corresponder e sintonizar a todos.
 Então comecei a ver diante de mim uma plantação de palavras. Podia espalha-las, planta-las, faze-las crescer e amadurecer e gerar outras. Esse processo nunca termina. Porque palavras estão em todo lugar e tenho um monte delas no campo da minha mente. Por isso estou aqui. Para usa-las mais e multiplicar seu potencial. Cada sexta-feira vou colher uma delas e partilhar seu poder de inspirar, como sementes que fazem novas palavras nascerem e embelezarem nosso mundo.
