IMPACT OF FEAR // IMPACTO DO MEDO

“Worse than fear is what fear causes in us”.

We are definitely living in times when fear is threatening people in ever situation. It is very important to develop the abilities to fight fear, specially because when we win over fear we become stronger.

For a lot of people the problem is what causes fear. They try to find a way to fight against the exterior factor, which is not always possible. We cannot control every exterior factor threatening us. In fact the major problem is how fear can affect people inside. It is the way we react to fear that most of the time is causing problems people aren't able to overcome. Besides the impact of fear there are also consequences that create conditions that become attached to emotions and there are cases where fear is ruining people's life.

Protecting and strengthening our emotions along with developing our ability to react to fear are action we need to work to win this battle.

“Pior que o medo é o que o medo causa em nós”.

Estamos definitivamente vivendo em tempo onde o medo está ameaçando as pessoas em cada situação. É muito importante desenvolver habilidades para lutar contra o medo, principalmente quando vencemos nos fortalecemos.

Para muitas pessoas o problema é o que o medo causa. Tentam encontrar uma maneira de lugar contra o fator externo, o que nem sempre é possível. Não podemos controlar todos fatores externos que nos ameaçam. De fato o maior problema é como o medo nos afeta interiormente. É como reagimos ao medo que normalmente causa problemas que não superamos. Além do impacto do medo existem as consequências que criam condições que se prendem às emoções levando a casos onde o medo arruina com a vida das pessoas.

Proteger e fortalecer as emoções, juntamente com desenvolver a habilidade de reagir ao medo são ações que precisamos trabalhar para vencer essa batalha.

TROPHY // TROFÉU

🇺🇸 Who works in the fields, sowing and reaping, works hard, but also enjoy both phases of the process. To plant is a joy, because it’s the beginning and the seeds will be multiplied. The harvest is the same because is the result of the efforts. It’s like to win a special TROPHY, this is the word for today.
 Trophy is the symbol of the victory. It comes from the greek tropaion, from tropaios meaning “for defeat someone”. The root of that word is tropē, which means “of a turning”, from the verb trepo, which means “to turn”. It said that the greek armies used to build a monument with the spoils from the defeated army at the place where they turned back, fleeing from the battle. The monument was called tropaion, trophy.
 Every victory is to be celebrated. There’re victories over an opponent and sometimes we’re battling against ourselves. But the trophy is also to remind us that every victory is a point of return. The defeated returns running away, the victorious will return to the place where everything started. On the way back, there’s the chance to watch the ways taken, the mistakes made, every detail that conducted to the victory. I like to learn from people who know they’re good and know why they’re good. It’s because they celebrate victories lifting the trophy while they go back learning the lessons that will help them to keep winning.
 To win is good, but it can let us distracted. We face battles every day, different ones. For every trophy you collect, build up the monument to remind you where you’ve come from and where you do want to come.

🇧🇷 Quem trabalha no campo, semeando e colhendo, trabalha duro, mas também desfruta das duas fases do processo. Plantar é uma alegria porque é o começo e as sementes vão multiplicar. A colheita também, porque é a recompensa pelos esforços. É como ganhar um TROFÉU. Esta é a palavra de hoje.
 Troféu é o símbolo da vitória. Vem do grego tropaion, de tropaios que significa “por derrotar alguém”. A raiz dessa palavra é tropē, que significa “de retorno”, do verbo trepo, que significa “ir de volta”. Diz-se que os exércitos gregos construíam um monumento com os despojos do exército derrotado no lugar onde eles retornavam, fugindo da batalha. O monumento era chamado tropaion, troféu.
 Cada vitória deve ser celebrada. Há vitórias sobre oponentes e algumas vezes batalhamos contra nós mesmos. Mas o troféu é também para nos lembrar que cada vitória é um ponto de retorno. Os derrotados voltam fugindo, os vitoriosos pelo caminho por onde tudo começou. Ali terão a chance de observar os caminhos tomados, erros cometidos, cada detalhe que conduziu à vitória. Gosto de aprender com os que sabem que são bons e também sabem o porquê de serem bons. Porque eles celebram vitórias erguendo o troféu, enquanto retornam aprendendo as lições que ajudarão a mantê-los vencendo.
 Vencer é bom, mas pode nos deixar dispersos. Enfrentamos batalhas de todos os tipos todos os dias. Para cada troféu, erga um monumento para lembrar de onde você veio e onde você quer chegar.
