🇺🇸 One thing that everybody is thinking is how life is going to be from now on, and of course, there’re a lot of expectations going on about the future of work. Considering that we were caught unprepared this time, this new reality is something to be considered. So, is working from home something that came to stay?
There’s no doubt that the perspective we are having about work now is giving us the answer to that question. The experience that so many are having can allow us to rethink the working process, not only about location, but also about dynamics. Maybe we’ll have the chance to consider Bertrand Russell’s ideas, as well, Italian sociologist Domenico de Masi's concepts about work and optimization of the time.
Work will change, as it’s changed through out history. Working from home will become a top option, because it’s possible and less expensive to individuals and companies. Technology will enable personal interactions and faster processes with higher efficiency. There’s still a lot to be learned about organizing, dealing with disturbance and security improvement, but we’re on track. New methods will be developed and improved. New work activities will be created. Some people might complain. Don’t be one of them.
One last challenge will remain, which is to enjoy the spare time building new and better relationships, hanging out with family and friends, enriching the spirit with culture. Are we able to make that happen?

🇧🇷 Uma coisa que todo mundo está pensando é sobre como a vida vai ser daqui pra frente e claro, existe um monte de expectativas sobre o trabalho no futuro. Considerando que fomos pegos de supresa desta vez, esta nova realidade é algo para se considerar. Então, trabalhar de casa é algo que veio pra ficar?
Não há dúvida de que a perspectiva que estamos tendo sobre trabalho agora está no dando a resposta para essa pergunta. A experiência que muitos estão tendo vai permitir repensar o processo de trabalho, tanto na localização quanto na dinâmica. Talvez tenhamos a chance de considerar as ideias de Bertrand Russell, bem como os conceitos sobre trabalho e uso do tempo do sociólogo italiano Domenico de Masi.
O trabalho vai mudar, como tem mudado através da história. Trabalhar de casa será uma opção top, por ser viável e mais barato para indivíduos e empresas. A tecnologia vai permitir interações pessoais, processos mais rápidos e com maior eficiência. Ainda há muito que se aprender sobre organização, lidar com interferências e melhoria de segurança, mas estamos no caminho. Novo métodos serão desenvolvidos e melhorados. Novas atividades criadas. Alguns poderão reclamar. Não seja um deles.
Um último desafio vai ficar: desfrutar o tempo de sobra para construir novos e melhores relacionamentos, passar tempo com a família e amigos e enriquecer o espírito com cultura. Será que conseguiremos?
