🇺🇸 One of the things about seeds and crops is that they can share pollen to other fields. Sharing is one of the greatest experiences in life. It’s what really makes us rich. If you don’t believe that, remember that the richest man in the world is alo the greatest philanthropist in the world.
Pollination creates a trace sharing essence of life to every direction. It’s a random process. Birds, insects, wind have effect on that, but not having an exactly order where they are going, but always leaving the traces behind. The result is a new harvest. Fields filled with new life, beautiful gardens, delicious fruits. That is an example of what words can do when we share them in a positively way.
Words leave a trace of wisdom. Same way as pollination has more than one agent, we can leave a trace of words in several way. Using a pen is one of them. I don’t know why, but I am a pen aficionado. I was never a collector, but I use to keep every pen I got. Before move to US I decided to get rid of the pens, but I’m still love them. The word PEN comes from latin penna, which means “feather”. It’s easy to make the connection, once people used to use feathers to write. Pen’s main characteristic is to leave a trace, of writing or stain. At the end the words will be matter the most, like the fruits, but not without the pen.
Modern pen, ballpoint, was invented by Lázló Bíró, a Hungarian news editor, in 1938. These pens started to be sold in 1943. Pollen, fruits, ink, words and deeds. We’re all part of the process of leaving a trace.

🇧🇷 Uma das coisas sobre sementes e espigas é que elas podem partilhar pólen com outros campos. Partilhar é uma das grandes experiências na vida. É o que nos faz verdadeiramente ricos. Se não acredita, lembre que o homem mais rico do mundo é também o maior filantropo do mundo.
Polinização cria um rastro partilhando essência de vida em todas as direções. É um processo randômico. Pássaros, insetos, vento têm influência nisso. Podem não ter uma direção exata de onde vão, mas sempre deixam o rastro. O resultado é uma nova colheita. Campos cheios de nova vida, lindos jardins, frutos deliciosos. Que exemplo do que as palavras podem fazer quando partilhamos elas positivamente.
Palavras deixam rastro de sabedoria. Assim como polinização tem mais de um agente, o mesmo ocorre com o rastro de palavras. A caneta é um desses agentes. Não sei explicar, mas sou um aficionado por canetas. Nunca fui colecionador, mas guardava todas as canetas que conseguia. Quando mudei pros EUA joguei elas fora, mas ainda amo canetas. CANETA vem do latin canna, “talo de planta”. O primeiro uso de caneta foi assim, remetido aos egípicios. A principal característica da caneta é deixar rastro, de escrita ou de mancha. No final as palavras, como frutos, são o que importa mais, mas não sem a caneta.
Canetas modernas, esferográficas, foram inventadas por Lázló Bíró, um editor húngaro, em 1938. Foram comercializadas em 1943. Pólen, frutos, tinta, palavras, e ações. Todos estamos nesse processo.
